Staff welfare well handled

The company tries to be good to staff, they have free coffees, teas, etc. Free fruit twice a week and sweets for staff. They also have lunches made at discounts for staff. However, there is a glass ceiling that you cannot break through, especially if a local and a woman. Equality needs to be addressed, as well as equal pay for equal work. Not everything is equable across the board.

Pros: 9 hour work day incl lunch :) and breaks are NOT regulated
Cons: Limited advancement once you've reached a certain level

Good working environment

My day is long, no clear targets. Have to deal with more than 130 staff members. I have good co workers. dusb I have learnt that it does not take much to be successful but you have to be nice to certain people.

Excellent learning curve

A typical day was: working with a close-knit Team; extinguishing fires; problem solving; being challenged daily; training staff; controlling global traffic I learned so much working with stakeholders from all over the world, different personalities and all levels (from admin to global leads and directors) I had an excellent relationship with co-workers The most challenging aspect was balancing capacity among limited resources within tight deadlines. Extremely high pressured and fast-paced environment. Excellent opportunity to test how strong a person you are when you are faced with on-the-job-learning and receiveing minimal training.

Pros: Great opportunity for doing what I love
Cons: Permanent night shift, no work-life balance
