Phumphambili Logistics Reviews

Excellent learning curve, transporting Iron Ore for the mines in Northern Cape.

The most challenging aspects of the job is to provide the mines with sufficient trucks to move their product to railway stations for export. Most product is going to Saldanha Bay. tonnages must be moved and targets must be reached in order to comply with contractual obligations. What i have learned is that you have to know mine safety regulations and the responsibility of legal liability for transporters. My relationship with co workers is good as i like to develop people to perform optimal and being proud of what they do and achieve. what i enjoy most is to see month end figures growing over prior year figures.

Pros: Good learning curve for future job
Cons: Living in a remote area that have adverse weather conditions. To buy luxuries you must travel at least 200Km to get to a large town or city with shopping malls.

Learning experience

There was nepotism shown repetitively logistics department I wanted to be in. I faced hurdles, but I've had my challenges in terms of resolutions which were not reached to help the company become more profitable. in the logistics department I wanted to be in.
