Favouritism and office politics

A typical workday at Pharma Dynamics includes drinking a lot of coffee and having tons of meetings that could have been done via email. I have learnt not to trust my co-workers because anything you say will be exaggerated and used against you at some point. I have also learnt that some people have the luxury of sitting or walking around whole day and not doing any work, while others are reprimanded for being away from their desk to go to the bathroom. There are some people who are allowed to take weeks off at a time, yet someone who is more senior than that person is not allowed to because the colour of their skin doesn't match.

Pros: You get a lot of free stuff, although most of it is crap you wouldn't be able to use without buying other parts.
Cons: Managers are like prison wardens (this might be because of the close proximity to Pollsmoor Prison). There is constant office politics. HR favours certain people over others and even covers up for someone who steals from the company on a regular basis.

Excellent learning curve

Pharma dynamics is an amazing company to work for. They take passion in their staff and really appreciate their hard work. - My typical work day some days are busier than most but that is what I love about it. I'm not one to sit around and wait for work to come my way, always helping where I can. - Excellent working relationships with my co-workers. - Pharma Dynamics has taught me so much from - Pharma Dynamics always strives for the best, taking care of their workers is a main priority. Like, wellness week where you get spoiled with massages and haircuts and zumba classes to grid classes. - Where I've had to find my feet with things I have never dealt with throughout my working career, it was challenging at first but I kept head and I succeeded which I am very proud of.

Learned a lot

I start by checking emails and preparing reports that any of managers are requesting from all over the provinces. I then work on my standard monthly reports. I have a great relationship with co-workers we get along and help each other. I have learnt to speak up for myself and not to over extend myself. I enjoyed when a request is not standard and I have to think about the problem and do a research with colleagues from other departments and from the internet. It can be challenging when I have to alter a script on QlikView as no one else at the company knows sql.

Excellent learning curve

A typical day is looking at market data to asses what new business opportunities there are to that can be brought to market, which will grow the business and contribute to the bottom line.

Excellent corporate dynamic

great corporate dynamics, flat structure with regard to management, exposure to all departments within the company you learn abit all the different facets of of the pharmaceutical industry

Gained lots of experience

Wonderful company to work for. Very busy environment. I am a peoples person so get on well with my colleagues. I love new challengers and working with people. I love organizing events, love meticulous work and meeting deadlines is a priority. i also love travelling.

Pros: hours are flexible. I can work independently. Love the team I work with.
Cons: currently no promotional opportunities
