Working description

The day-to-day challenges of manufacturing are encountered. Although my current role is technical, I get dragged into day-to-day activities every day. I have gained a lot of experience in the glass industry through the company. But they refuse to send me on more training. I am expected to fulfill three roles within the plant. Technical manager, safety manager and quality manager. I have a good relationship with all my co-workers, but must manage some of peers' duties to ensure the team as a whole moves forward. I enjoy handing over completed technical projects in a professional way, as this industry has not been operating at world class standards. The most challenging part of my job is to assist with communication between personnel as this is not effective on their own attemtps.

Excellent learning curve

A typical day, very stress full and long, with only two collegue's to help, but it's challenging. I have learnt a lot, with all the training i got regarding our products.
