Challanging manufacturing process requiring hands on managment at all times

Running the operations of a manufacturing facility requires an intricate knowledge of all facets of the organisation. Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, Warehousing, Finance, etc all impact on the smooth operation of the facility. The facility is relatively small and still requires hands on management and input from myself. i am willing to put in many long hours to ensure the optimal operation of the facility and meeting the demands of our customers. Being a sales led organisation means both optimal output and meeting all sales demands are key. This is never an easy task, but ensures the highest level of customer service. The engineering challenges and daily complexity of the facility keeps us all young and focused on the task at hand.

Pros: All aspects of business management and experience in all departments in the organisation
Cons: micromanagement requirements in many of the departments

Challenging

Doing internal and external sales. Liaising with clients. Invoicing orders. Purchasing. A variety of abilities of working currently. Get along well with my colleagues. Have learnt to be able to do a variety of jobs here and be up for any challenge given.

Pros: Great benefits and opportunities
Cons: Not growing. Opportunities given for selected staff. Lack of work ethic in between different regions
