A great place to learn and grow but it limits one

On an ordinary day, i start my day at 07:00am before everyone reports for duty in order to plan my day. Depending on my load of work i always leave the office after knock of time because i believe that each day comes with its own troubles and i don't believe in leaving the days job for tomorrow. I can be funny when i am not swamped with work so i have a really good relationship with my co-workers and because i am a very helpful person. The most challenging aspect of this job has been expected to manage my seniors while i am a junior. What has been challenging as well is obtaining receivables from clients who refuse to pay although the work agreed upon has been done. I have learned to manage my challenges by sending email reminders to my senior and also have send out payment terms to clients and indicated that whoever refuses to pay would be handed over to lawyers

Pros: A great place to grow as an individual and in my work/position
Cons: No opportunity for growth - Working in a different position

Significant advancement in my life

I am currently working as a Technical Assistant. I ensure that project start and end at the scheduled time. The first thing I do when I get to the office is to check my emails as most new projects are confirmed from there. I have learnt to satisfy the client at all cost. I have also learnt that there is a lot of competition and I need to go an extra mile in order to stand out of that competition. I enjoy being in a complex project where I take part and also given an opportunity to make decisions and manage the project. The most challenging aspect of the job is having to work with people who do not respond to emails, I make show that every email I send is followed by a phone call to let them know that I have sent an email and follow up on it.

Pros: An opportunity for growth in an industry in order to be a skilled knowledgeable professional
Cons: When there are less projects in the industry and across the country

Highly knowledgeable in roofing
