Pepsico/Simba Reviews

Perfect for development

Simba is a very people oriented business, in the wake of Pepsico's intergration, there have been quiet a lot of development to be a global player. I have enjoyed being able to teach others how to adapt to global influence, how to position data in such a way that it serves all stakeholder parties. Somehow it has made it possible for us to reach our target of clean data such that we were ready and able to participate in trials for workforce planning. A next project that should see the Simba/Pepsico partnership flourish. I have learned that until you learn about the people aspect in business, it can be very frustrating to run a project without buy-in. People really would like to understand the reason for the journey and once they do, they will invest. It has led me to meet the most outstanding people in my career. Allowed me to impart some of my knowledge but also learn some fundamental people values that we take forgranted.

Pros: Great opportunity for young achievers to be creative
Cons: Yes it takes long hours but its not just the hours, its the sifting to get clarity on leadership strategy.

Learning curve

I enjoyed working in the company I've been in the FMCG field for more than 8 years, the only problem is the Long working hours and that there is no growth opportunities at the company.

Pros: no opportunity for growth
Cons: long working hours
