Challenging environment that forces you to think out the box

As a Production manager I have gained a set of skills that focuses on creating an environment where the workforce willingly aims to achieve the collective goals a company sets out for its employees. I firmly believe that the management principles must aim to stimulate and maintain a workforce that will see themselves grow within the walls of the company. LEAN manufacturing methods (5S and waste elimination/muda) have proven to be extremely beneficial in creating the correct environment within the work place. I am an honest, responsible and efficient person that can persevere under pressure and manage resources at hand to ensure deliveries and due dates are never disregarded. I have well developed verbal and written communication skillset that allows me to compile reports and give proper feedback regarding tasks I strongly believe that I have the required set of attributes to excel within this type of environment

Excellent platform to get experience

Its good platform to get experience and now I'm proud to say I can be one of successfull managers one day i enjoy every minute i spend everyday doing my work to my level best at all times

Pros: it a great opportunity for the promotion because everything is about growing and giving equal opportunities to everyone
Cons: long working hours are part of retail every where you go the hours are the same

Good learning curve, not open to changes.

Work days are long, many mangers are not open to change as they have been there for years and does not see the need. Days and hours are wasted on project plans that do not get approved.

Teamwork and Collaboration Abilities

Always willing to help others in their tasks. I don't hesitant to share knowledge and ideas with other team members. I trust and support other team members to take ownership of their tasks. I am great at building positive relationships with others on your team.

It's a good learning place

Working at Pep is a typical working day My relation ship with co-workers is good, we communicate, and share ideas I have learn to respect other people, especially the customers I enjoy being saving customers from the till. The most challenging aspects of the job is to scrub the floor
