Excellent opportunity for a pensioner to be of value for a Company.

I WAS INVOLVED AS A SOLDIER WITHIN THE SANDF IN AN HUMAN RESOURCE CAPACITY FOR 40 YEARS. ALTHOUGH SOLDIERS DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY, IT CREATES THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN DIFFERENT THINGS.

Pros: Great opportunity to get involved with a private company.
Cons: I am used to working hours and beyond.

I am an au pair because of my age other positions are not available for me

I am a pensioner and widow and need to keep myself busy. I love to work with children and therefore enjoy being an au pair. I would like to get a live-in position and wouldn't mind being more hands-on in the house or office as well. I worked for Anine from March 2013 till December 2015. Was au pair and office assistant. Left to go stay with my children in Pretoria. Their family expanded and I was so grateful to get my au pair job back with Anine. I love the kids and most challenging is the time schedule that changes every few days because of their extramurals.

Pros: This is what I can expect doing at my age.
Cons: No real cons

It was quite an experience working there

I enjoyed every moment, teamwork, empowering, a caring company with all the benefits that go with good companies. I enjoyed mixing with people from different backgrounds like people speaking different languages such as Afrikaans, sepedi, setswana, xitsonga, isiizulu and siswati

Pros: Great learning opportunities
Cons: Long working hours. Lots of traveling

Review of what???

Being a pensioner, I don't work for a company anymore. Just receive my pension every month. Thus these questions which need to be answered are irrelevant. On a casual basis, I assist my son-in-law and daughter with their business, doing admin and financial stats for them.

Pros: No pros - not working for a company
Cons: No cons - not working for a company

Review

Up to September last year I was actively involved in curriculum development and training both for face2face and online via Blackboard. Most nights I had 5 hours sleep due to the deadlines that had to be met. I would not do this again. I was in the end part a multiracial development team each of who had tasks. My main task was online course development and design. Also assisted in getting assessments online. The development team had an excellent team spirit. I enjoy designing the curriculum the most and creating interactive training courses. Training was very easy for me and students always evaluated my high but the creative side was more satisfying.

Pros: Doing what I loved best design and training and seeing the difference it made in upliftment of students skills
Cons: Long hours, no family time, unreasonable deadlines,
