Peninsula Power Projects Reviews

A massive learning curve

A typical day involves: - capturing of invoices per contract(take-offs) in preparation for monthly claims - capturing variation orders - prepare estimates/quotations A typical month involves: - prepare monthly claims - prepare recons for invoicing - assist project managers with contractual issues arising Colleagues: - easy-going relationships with most - a healthy co-operative culture with most Electrical contracting was foreign to me but I now have a much better understanding and appreciation for electrical installations. The most enjoyable aspect happens to be when I'm challenged to expand my understanding of new areas within our service offering and where I can with competence and confidence resolve issues unassisted. By far the most rewarding is when the team as a whole contributes to the positive outcomes on each project and thereby all share in the success of a project

Pros: Very educational
Cons: Poor growth prospects professionally, very autocratic environment(unwilling to listen or apply logic/reason) from executive management
