Small company but very efficient

A great company for beginners. Lots of opportunities to gain knowledge and experience, if that's what you are inclined to. Excellent quality and engineering departments. Business gets extremely busy at times.

Pros: Great environment to learn and develop personally
Cons: Long working hours.. sometimes and some personnel don't receive compensation for such

Normal working hours with standby duties once a month etween our private life and work. to a wider range of work scope in the petrochemical industry. Pros: Allows you to work with other departments
Cons: Maintenance department tend to have limited challenges as there are repeated challenges

Good company with room for growth

Experienced

Please not that now im unemployed. I was only working as of 2016 sasol shutdown...i would like to be called upon this duty to add my value in the company.i like to see the company moving forward that is why i would love to commerce myself in.

Good leadership and problem solving skill

Petrus Sphiwe mathebula is a well – grounded, determined, self – motivated and committed Individual with excellent matric, N3,N4 & N5 Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical trade test and first a Line management Certificates, including plenty experience on Running plants, Maintenance work, Construction and workshop mechanical field.

Good company

I have been with pdps for the past 2years now and it has been very great as I'm working shifts, I have a very healthy and interesting relationship with the production people as we understand each other very well,in this 2 years i have learned so much but not limited, respect to your colleagues is one of the very key aspects of this field,being a brothers keeper,values,safety are the most important aspects as well.

We as PDPS we maintain plant.

we do mechanical fitter and other trade like boiler maker and pipe fitter. we respect each other, we don't take short cut. we work as a team and be brothers keeper all the time.

Excellent learning curve

Working Sasol haa tought me more than my job title. It has tought me people's skill, how to master and keep great work ethics on check all the time. Working on something you have never worked on before rately comes as a challenge that takes forever to solve. I enjoy the opportunity they give to everyone to learn beyond their responsible roles and hob titles.
