Average working condition, days are not the same so as times.

Days are not the same. Some are far better than others and that equip a person to grow intellectually, interpersonal skills and in criticism of which change the entire perception of things. I like my job honestly but only if few things could change I would be working in heaven. Nevertheless, I do get worse days, and I have few strategies to deal with that. The first one is I spend more time with students. I feel good to be part f their lives and to see what impact am I causing to them. Secondly, I need my space. Thirdly, I state my opinion about the matter. However,depends with the matter. My relationship with my co-workers is fine. We work together and help one another if necessary. What I have learnt is to deal with people.

Pros: They do encourage us to study further
Cons: Work is too much so as expectations accompanied with less incentives

Staff retention policies are good but salaries are not attractive based on the work load.

The working environment generally has poor quality of work life. Employees are not allowed to go out to buy small items like airtime before lunch time. No one is allowed to answer his / her cellphone during working hours. The working week is from Monday to Saturday from 7:45 to 17:00 Hours. You need a PASS in order to go out for lunch. The salaries are generally poor. A person with an MBA Degree is paid the same salary as one with Higher Certificate. A person with 6 modules to lecture is paid the same amount as one with two modules. A person offering highly technical modules is paid the same as one offering general business modules. Employees are generally friendly and get along very well. THE Lecturers with many modules are not given enough time to plan for their lessons. A worker at the institution learns to endure in the face of adversity.

Pros: Opportunity to get exposed to lecturing various modules.
Cons: Unfriendly HR policies.

Information Technology diploma

I am a hard worker, working in a huge respective  company with so many different departments. Working in a team, we used to share ideas, get connected by communicating in a team, motives each other ,challenging, competing and working more effective and submit work correctly on time and don't even mind working  under pressure, just to achieve the company gaol and keep the excellent company record and still be recognised everywhere. I really enjoy my work a lot.

I am a hard worker, working in a huge respective  company with so many different departments. Working in a team, we used to share ideas, get connected by communicating in a team, motives each other ,challenging, competing and working more effective and submit work correctly on time and don't even mind working  under pressure, just to achieve the company gaol and keep the excellent company record and still be recognised everywhere. I really enjoy my work a lot.

Excellent learning curve

I’m a highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet my deadlines, I have good interpersonal communication both verbally and written. I’m good in communicating with people and have good problem-solving skills; I’m a good team player with the ability to learn more. I am energetic, hardworking and multi skilled, my motto is to set up, develop and acquire more skills, maintain and improve the importance of human resource-keeping the organization efficient and effective, work done on time, meeting the required needs, following up and pushing for results. My career objectives are to be an integral part of a dynamic company where my enthusiasm and hard work will lead to success not only for me but also for the company I represent. I need to be part of a progressive team where creative thinking and collaboration solves problems and contributes to the well-being of the company.

Excellent interpersonal skills

Organised and adaptable administrator with seven years’ experience, and providing solid and essential back up to key positions and projects. A calm head and meticulous eye for detail ensures that all duties are carried out to the highest standards and in allotted time frames. Comfortable working as part of a team or independently with a focus on delivering quality administrative support on a continuous basis. I have learned to be confident negotiator and enjoyed most to identifying and solving problems with my clients and my colleagues, even it was the most challenging aspects when coming to our students issues but through my politeness and confident in communications it was much easier to come up with an excellent solutions

Datay capturing,filling, issue of icus numbers to students, photo copying.

We had good and strong relationship with employees, a strong team work. I have learned how to resolve a conflict between with different cultures. Mostly I enjoyed working hand to hand with my superiors,reporting each and everything that is happening.I also enjoy to meet deadlines. The most challenging aspect is to collect from the students. (Monthly instalments)

Learning curve to improve on current situation or employeement

Learning og the skills i have and improve on learning new in the field of IT, Mathematics and Statistics I have 5 years of experienced in the field of IT with focus on Mathematics and Quantitative Techniques and other IT related such as Software development and a beginner in programming and database.. I am currently working as Senior Lecturer and programme manager in the institution. Moreover, I planned to further my skills to acquire more knowledge in the field of mathematics and statistics.
