Greatest opportunity

Working at Pata pata was the greatest opportunity and good experiance too.they were days were i would feel so much pressured but at most times i picked up i loved working there we had our ups and downs sometimes but very proffesional. We worked as a team to keep the business running at all times,put our personal issues aside for the sake of the business and that was a leasson to all of our stuff including me. My manager was proffesional,strict and ethical.and what i enjoyed most is when there will be functions because thats when i know ill raise a lot of money and lot of tips. Its challenging a lot,the are less home hours,very busy days were you'll even think of quiting,you have to be representable to attract customers so they can be happy.you are the face of the company.

Pros: Good service and deliver on time
Cons: Reasonable time everytime

5 years experience in hospitality

I have been a waitress for five years now. I have product knowledge in both food and beverages. I know different types of cocktails and their contents, shooters, spirits, beers, and wines. I can work under pressure and I am able to work consistently with a smile on my face while addressing my customers, no matter how difficult the customer is.

Pros: Getting to know people and their different backgrounds
Cons: Difficult customers and a busy environment

Hectic

Pata Pata is a great place to can be at but the shop is small to can accommodate many people. It is a place of tourists, people from outside country and top business men and women. I get to deal with difficult customers and the management is way poor in a way that managers fail to handle complains and that makes us waitpersons to look like fools in front of the customer.

Pros: You meet great people who can actually make you a better person, they offer good jobs.
Cons: Long working hours and too stressful.
