Great for learning.

Partners hair design is great for learning but no growth. Some are great others will never be helpfull. I have learnt not to trust anyone as all and everyone are back stabbers no one is helpful. Typical day would include going from store to store and checking receptionist are doing their job.

Excellent hard worker

Partners hair design is a fun place to work at,you constantly learn new things. I enjoy working there cause i get to meet new people on a daily base. My co workers are the best because we tend to learn new things from each other daily,they supportive & always positive

A day in the life

A typical work day as a receptionist includes banking, dealing with clients, dealing with staff problems, sales, clients returning goods or buying goods, no breaks, need to be at front desk all the time, knowledge of ESP is a must, cashing up, employees wanting to swop shifts, asking for days off. Filling out paperwork, emailing. The most challenging parts of the job are difficult or angry customer's. The long hours are not great too especially over festive. No bonus. No overtime. No incentives.

Excellent learning curve ,where I communicate all day face to face and telephonically

I communicate with client telephonically and physically ,which I enjoy doing ,it give me confidence in myself that I havnt hadt before,meeting different types and kinds of people from all around. I enjoy the environment,coworkers are great fun and bubbly,my normal day is to sit at the desk help clients with products they are interested in and how they want their hair to done and what to be done,aswel as give them opinions for and about their hair.(clients loves the opinions and suggestions). Also do payment for what was done to the clients hair.

Excellent learning curve

A typical day at work would be making sure that I arrived early to settle in and prepare myself for the day. A relationship with co- workers would be tough when we all females. But then again, we all there to do a job. We have to keep things professional. Working in a hair salon has been very challenging, due to the fact that I worked in a spa. The noise levels are completely different, I still find myself adjusting to it. As a receptionist, I have learnt a lot, I learn something new everyday. It's not difficult to book clients or take payments, but when clients do come in YOU are face of the company, you have to be projective when it comes to communication. I enjoy what I do, but to be realistic, its not where my heart is at.

Cons: Too short hours, and I get paid per hour

Dicrimination

Lots of discrimination,what foes for the one does not go for the other. Work ethic is not so great. Great people to work for but the way they work is terrible lots of backstabbing
