The value of customers

Travel and tourism is a fast pasted industry which constantly tests a persons strength and weaknesses. Hospitality need a person who is able to remain calm in the midst of angry customers who have different needs some which are unreasonable. The only person who is able to win customers even if one will not be able to provide what they require. There are good time and bad times together we laugh and sometimes get hurt but as a team we make it fine by supporting one another. The challenge is difference in attitudes towards work, dealing with theft and loafing at work, it needs one to have priority and understand that the business we are under is bigger then us and so we need to do the best to sustain it. I enjoy solving problems and doing my best to make sure my guests are comfortable and enjoying themselves. Its employees who wants to scheme and loaf, cheat and steal, who wants to gain and put nothing in the business that are challenging the most. The travel agents that don't want to pay in time.

Pros: Get to make peoples lives comfortable and enjoyable away from home.
Cons: Short temper is a no in this business

Excellent learning

its a great work place, we all get along as workers and as we should work as a team. although it difficult sometimes to deal with rude Guest's, too much work and long hours. well its a good place to learn as i have learned alot in a short period of time, i've learned to cook different meals and i enjoy the cooking part and making breakfast for the Guest's not to mention socialising and interacting with them.

Pros: great opportunity for learning
Cons: long working hours
