Excellent learning curve

Going out of the country for six months per year you don't see your family was the hardest but other than that it was a wonderful & exciting learning curve. Dealing with deferent weathers every day.

Excellent learning curve in the work load and very high daily expectations with deliverables

The job is very paper driven no electronic services at all all orders to be written out and signed off by management the day comprises receiving lists of requests from the ships communicating with suppliers and all vessel crew and engineering staff whom all got on very well in ensuring all requests are sorted out. The paperwork process flow is different to other companies i have been with but one must adapt to the financial, creditors process flow the biggest challenges was to get all paperwork done on time deliveries to the vessels before sailing days

Pros: teaching one how to manage time accuracy communication
Cons: expectation is to complete all work before sailing day including very long hours and weekends
