Implementing a solution I was told would not work, a few years later today, it is still working.

A typical day for me, is arriving at work, and running all the morning checks, and assisting the client resolve any matters that may arise during the day. I work well with my colleagues and we assist each other in maintaining an environment that is stable and fault free for the client. I have learnt that everyday is a new challenge in IT, as every situation is unique and has to be dealt with on it's own accord. I enjoy the challenge, as you never know what is coming, how users will find "inventive" ways to break the systems. The most challenging part of the job for me is dealing with irate users, who don't admit to their fault, and their errors.

Pros: I am looking to grow my IT Support Experience
Cons: The long hours are sometimes an issue as after my divorce, I get to see very little of my daughter and sometimes the hours take the little I do see her away from me.

Great Company Culture

A typical day at Ovations is exciting and quite enjoyable. The company has an excellent family like culture, where people do look out for each other and care for one another. The work environment is relaxed but work does get done. Its challenging at times but it never feels like you cant cope. There is always people to help you. The company execs have an ope door policy, making it easy to approach should you have anything to bring to their attention. Various company gatherings ensure that the company moral is lifted at all times.

Cons: Slow Learning curve
