OUTA Reviews

Great exposure

One of the many great things I was able to do at OUTA, was learn and broaden my knowledge on good corporate governance, wasteful expenditure, mismanagement, maltreatment of employees etc. I work as an investigator for OUTA, were we would do everything from receiving the complainant to identifying and liaising with whistle-blowers and building a case. We have found major acts of non-compliance along with willful negligence and criminality regarding certain state owned entities. I try to incorporate my knowledge as a Certified Fraud Examiner in the work I do and it works well, once I have obtained as much as possible I draft extensive reports explaining and detailing the evidence, legislative frameworks as well as any possible findings and actions to be taken. The last report done was 124 pages or 27124 words. I like to pore my heart and soul into my work and take great pride in it. I also love to learn and grow and therefore I am on the job market.

Pros: Great impact on the public
Cons: Not aligning with my career aspirations properly
