Excellent international company

01/03/2014 to date – Osiris Trading – English Support Specialist  Assisting multiple (5) players (customers) at the same time on different platforms such as chat, email and telephone calls.  Osiris Trading is a South African company that provides support and a host of other services for the world’s leading international online casinos, as an English Support Specialist I provide assistance in the form of chats, emails and calls, to a whole list of international clients such as Australians, Canadians, Germans, French, Italians and so forth.  The queries that I deal with include deposit match offers, technical, promotional, verification document, play history, deposit reversal, withdrawal method, deposit method and customer complaint queries.  I assist over 200 players a day whilst taking pride in quality and first interaction resolution.  I pride

Great working environment

A great place to work with a comfortable working environment. Many perks such as masseuse and subsidized lunches. Vibrant and Dynamic work envirnoment. The company lacks good project management and communication with its projects and employees. There is a great sense of culture in the business with frequent charity drives and fun projects that involve everyone in the business. They do try keep everyone happy as far as possible. The company dynamic is always changing, often this leads to lots of work being done for nothing, or projects being done with very little information or poor communication resulting in less than perfect implementations of their product. They have since given away all brands and have decided to focus on one in particular, but the brand has been constructed with many achiles heals that hinder succesful implementation. While the company pays above market average and has many perks, they do not reward loyalty.

Great place for learning.

Really nice company to work for. Salaries aren't great and I wish there were more opportunities for growth. The work environment is great! Lunch is free.

I believe I am a hard worker, I work well under pressure

I believe I am a hard worker, I work well under pressure and I do believe that in my time as an English support agent I have gained some of the skills needed to perform the role I am applying for. The skills I do not yet possess, I am eager to learn. As for the experience needed, the tasks I did in my previous job at Nedbank as an Admin Assistance / Clerk, I have the necessary experience needed, and will be able to fulfill the necessary skills and requirements needed for this role as I dealt with OTT (overseas transfers) Calculating and checking foreign currencies. I have solid negotiation skills, excellent communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills needed for this role. I am very deadline and results driven and have a strong attention to detail, I feel as though tasks need to be completed on time and most importantly need to be done correctly. Definitely a team player, work well with people and enjoy training others.

Great environment to expand on the field you are at

It is a great environment which gives you the opportunity to explore more on the banking side and interacting with different clients. Gives the opportunity of understanding communication withing different industries

Good learning curve

Mid level Managers in Call Center are Bullies

Great flexable hours, but floormanagers very rude and uses profanity. Exco been out of touch with what happens in call center for years. promotions is not given to deserving but often who is liked more.

Toxic coworker and poor administration

Excellent company with good utilization of each person's specialty. Also, a great place to allow new employees to learn and pick up new skills. Generally, a very fun place with fun people working there. However, certain employee is too toxic. The administration allows and promotes such employee to thrive within the company, making it a toxic environment to work at.
