Fast paced and ever changing

I am involved in most aspects of our business that start with sourcing of raw material, planning and coordinating production, distributing finished goods to various warehouse locations and selling to end users. I take pride in getting along very well with co-workers, customers and suppliers. What I have learnt most is that being proactive and acting promptly makes the customer feel extremely satisfied. I always keep them informed of where their orders are in the process. The same goes with suppliers, where I provide regular forecasts so that they can also have sufficient stock available to ensure uninterrupted production. My greatest challenge is to carry the correct product (pack size and type) at the correct location.

Pros: Flat reporting structure for fast decision making
Cons: Non-specialized roles; i.e. I handle Procurement, Production, Distribution, Warehousing and Sales (including the admin for all these)
