Excellent learning curve
Every morning in my workplace we have safety meetings where all the team take part, we have three teams each having one technician and five mechanicians whereby a technician also act as team leader or a first line manager. Then after we have a team meeting where the previous night breakdowns or maintenance is discussed and so is the day's work also discussed. We have quite a big team considering three teams we having but not only do I get along with my direct team members but those of other teams as well, because I also work in their areas when I am on standby, though I can work efficiently on my own I can also be a good team member. I have learnt to so many interesting things in my career but one thing that I like the most that came with it is to listen and pay attention to details. I enjoy solving complex problems and coming up with new and better ways of preventing problems. The challenging aspect about the my job is to make production and production people happy.
Pros: Experience developing and no restrictions in profeessional training
Cons: Long hours sometimes if we have to intergrate shifts with normal working hours.

LEARNING
Is a big company that empower people by sending them to school, train them communicate with them using visual management concentrate on safety for people before producton. I have learned troubleshooting, communication been a team leader and supervision

Learning experience
Working at Omnia you get to experience different parts of the entire company. There are a lot of people who come from all different walks of life and the amount of knowledge that's just sitting and waiting to be leveraged is huge and the company is ready to support any business idea that will empower its employees and make it money, and when I say support I mean full backing from the top. If they believe in your idea you best believe they will give you all the support you need.

A good time to get good opportunities
My day starts with morning meetings which are mainly for planning purposes, after meetings i have to do master planning (placing purchase orders for stock items). Supervise staff and ensure they provide feedback of the work provided which includes mobile equipment inspections and other safety related inspection needs to be in before a specific time. Daily and weekly stock related queries with mainly engineering departments, follow up with repairable items (reverse logistics). My duties includes leave approvals, time sheets(monthly salaries and overtime), book training for employees, disciplinary action when required. I have a learnt a lot about the integrated management systems, ISO systems. I enjoy being in the service department, because i take customer complaints very serious. They actually the ones which makes a department be a better one. Challenges are presidencies that do not have explanations, no paper trail.

Productive work environment and excellent learning platforms
I work from 7 to 4:15 everyday. Sometime work late depending on the need. Professional working relationship with colleagues and also conducive for socializing as well. We Assist each other were necessary and always learn new things from each other as well. In my previous company we used NOSA 5 star system and when i moved to Omnia i started working with IMS and I have learned a lot and still learning. Helping people fulfills me. My motto is to ensure that everyone goes home in the same condition they came in. I always tell this to my colleagues when i do site walkabouts and inspections.

Excellent learning Environment
It is the best environment to learn but no structure,I didn't have the department i had to do everything because limited number of people .Programming ,Analysis and Design.Relation with co-workers and i learned to work under pressure .I enjoyed working on my own space with all required expenses.

Great Team work

Excellent experience and learning curve
Good company to work on I have learn lot of skills including my developments now looking for a new challenge now company is in financial crisis it was a company that works with chemicals it was very concern about it's employees safety by training them to work save according to SOP's
