Very hardworking individual

I would say my day starts with meetings and then I have to conduct a meeting with the two facilitators to discuss the days training. My relationship with them is quite good they trust me with anything and the level of respect they give me though I am way younger than is incredible. I started off there with no clue of what training management entails but I managed to learn quickly and adapt to the senior position. What I enjoy most is having to interact with different people from different backgrounds. The most challenging part was that most people that work in this company are old generation, so some where not keen to be led or instructed by a young person top of that a lady. So it was really hard at first. They couldn't trust my judgemente. Another challenge is having to deliver presentation to management which is a challenge at the moment but I am learning and I will get there.

Health and happy working environment

every morning i wake up i cannot get to work it feels like home but with extra efford to work and complete your given tasks on time, the staff is very friendly and open i found not only collegues but brothers and sisters sometimes i get best advices from my collegues, i have learned that team work is the key we achieved the best for the organization they can rely on us, i enjoy when there is a huge project and we work on it as a team to finish it even before it is due. thechallenges i get that on my job tittle i am the only one who is doing my current Job when im off no one will continue where i left my job ill end up feeling pressurised but an the end i have to get the job done on time.

Pros: I got a National Certificate in Generic management NQF4 offered by this Company
Cons: working with young starts (learners)

Its a dynamic learning

Working at Omni is very educating, because we deal or train students who comes from disadvantage background. We train them on how to start their own small businesses and become employable.

Learning curve

I work in a retail sector when I train learners in a skills program for Shoprite Checkers Development Trust. I train different group after each training block that is 13 days of training and the learners go to Shoprite or Checkers to do their practicals. I normally have 30 to 35 learners in my class schedule for training . The challenge is that most of the learners come from a disadvantaged background and financial aid is a bit of a problem for them.

Pros: there are opportunities for me to become a regional manager or facilitator coordinator
Cons: long hours 8to 4:30
