Excellent learning opportunity
as a working person we spend most of our days at work, that means we have to make it as comfortable as it can be for ourselves, I have a very good relationship with my colleagues and my time leader is a very humble approachable person. I have learnt to be a very good team player and polished my social skills aswell. In a claims teams no one is able to do their work without the other so we have to all work together as a team. challenges which ed to encounter were paying attention to detail,as we are dealing with peoples claims, which means ID numbers, and other important documents , you have to make sure every required document is there that is needed in order for the claim to be paid.

Wonderful experience
I worked at OLD MUTUAL ,it was my last work experience my employment was to get clients old and new acquainted about their products and earn their trust to entrust me with their FICA documents . My typical day was either go straight to clients straight away if I had arranged the day before or go to the office if I did not have any appointments At that company we often did joint field work scouting clients as co-workers and that was quite interesting as our different personalities meet . I learned that I can work as team player and as an individual and I did enjoy either or .. and there a lot of togetherness and diversity celebrated culturally and traditionally, my most challenge was meeting a client who was not able to trust me with their personal details due to their past experience and the fact that we leaving at an age where people struggle to part with money as I was selling a promise not something they could actually touch in this struggling economy of ours.

Not happy being a temp for 6 years now.
working with old mutual is great but being a temp for 6 years is not a nice thing for me. and in that case they want to relocate me to another province

It was a learning cure for me
i enjoy every moment of my company because i work with different kinds of personality and it help me to understand work relationship.i love work with many people because you learn everyday.again to help people to understand your work and they trust you with their money for your company has to deliver to them what it has promise. eg to help a person to have a funeral cover it something small but when a funeral comes he/she can see that you have help him/her with an over load job.i enjoy seing people being happy even after i help them, seeing them being stress free i think its a blessing. people from big companies some times the under mine our job and they give us though time to come and do presentation

Hard worker
Target orintated person, team player, eager to learn and always looking for opportunities for growth,ethical, punctual and resilience. Has the ability to perform under any type of pressure. Always strives for customers certification. Ability to communicate at all levels. Able to deal with different characters and still be able to achieve suitable results.

I've learned to deal with people, and effectively deal with conflict
I can maintain confidentiality, hard worker with high level of challenging attitude. And I have the ability to effectively deal with conflict. Ready to accept more responsibilities and thirst for more knowledge. I am honest, punctual, competent, assertive, friendly and I can work within a group to achieve or meet targets.
Pros: willing to start from the bottow work my work up.

Excellent learning curve.
I have learnt so much from Old mutual and the stuff members. I've learnt how to make decent phone calls and arrange appointment with potential customers. I have learnt how to negotiate business and close a deal. I have learnt how to deal with different characters of different customers and be patient with them too. I have learnt how to handle and deal rejection on a day to day from customers. It is difficult but I learnt that its parts and parcels of sales. You come across people from different cultures, races and of different sexes and beliefs at work, which will test you as a person. But I've learnt to embrace this diversity and handle them as they come. Afterall we are a team and I enjoy being around my team a lot.

Great worker
Great place to work for, lots of career developments and benefits such as medical aid, car allowance and petrol. O work very well with my coworkers because I spend more time at work than being at home with family.I have learnt to communicate well and be able to deal with all kind of different clients and characters and being able to work under pressure because there are targets set and one has to meet on a daily, weekly and monthly. There are staff braais and teambuldings done for one to ease stress and coworkers to get along and to sort out our differences.there's quite a lot of pressure but I have learnt to cope and work well under that.
Pros: Great opportunity for career developments, get to go to trainings and do short courses that will empower and develop you.
Cons: You suppose to work from 8am till 4:30pm but you get to work extra hours because of wanting to meet required targets

Good financial advice and great opportunity for growth
it's a challenge itself to work with different characters and trying to adjust to everyone's needs. Being on the field is enjoyable but tiring at times as one needs to drive around daily trying to meet targets (the driving around is quit strenuous). But meeting new people daily is the fun part. I've learnt how to stay polite to all these characters I get to build relations with daily.
Pros: Great opportunity to socialize
Cons: Traveling around daily.

Excellent leaning curve
This jo b thougth me how to meet dead line and make my daily planner it was all possible if yo allow your self to work hand in hand with the manager as well as my coligues team work always work for me but ther was dificulties as well such as targets failing to meet my daily target was bad worese part for me
