I work well under pressure

To Whom It May Concern I am applying for the Brand Insight Manager position as advertised. Accompanying this letter you will find all my CV to assess my application. I hold a Higher Diploma from the AAA School of Advertising. I have also done some short courses through the years notably; Project Management 1 (CPUT), New Managers Development Program (USB) and currently doing Advanced Marketing Strategy (UNISA). I believe that my educational qualifications and my working experience would allow me to successfully fill the position. I have gained ten years of experience in the field of Marketing. I started in a junior position and am now in middle management. The time has come for a new challenge. The position that you offer is perfect for where I am in my career. As you will see on my CV I have experience in both advertising agency and client side. My experience with different companies and different platform makes me quite versatile.

Pros: I am good learner
Cons: I have to work 1 full months notice

Work life balance

A typical day at Ogilvy is tight deadlines and demanding clients. The PR agency life is high pressure and high expectations from client. Colleagues are great and quite helpful even though dealing with different personalities can be a huge challenge. This industry requires a level of emotional intelligence and commitment. Doing what you best can for the day and walk away. Taking it one day at a time and learning from mistakes as quickly as possible. What i particularly love and enjoy is seeing a piece of coverage in the news paper, on TV or hearing my client on radio. This is the essence of Public Relations, i love seeing results after had work. The most challenging thing however is getting over the fact that there will always be mistakes. They take away from an otherwise perfect execution plan. However we learn and we grow from them.

Pros: Great place to get experience
Cons: People are always leaving

There was wine every Friday afternoon after 5pm which allowed us all a safe casual stressfree environment to further engage.

Excellent

I am writing to express my interest in working for your well-established company as a mobile tester/ Junior Developer. After completing my course [Information Technology (Systems Development)] at red and yellow, and gaining industry experience through my internship at Ogilvy and Mather (Cape Town), as a php and front-end developer, I feel it is time to gain more industry experience, as a junior developer or Quality Tester.

Pros: Great
Cons: long working hours and meeting deadlines
