Patience is a virtue.

I find working at Ocean Basket very challenging of late I have worked for the ocean basket group for many years and in many stores. The last store i struggle with the running of the day to day operations as i dont feel i have back up from the owners. The new store is beautifully decorated and we have very well established customer base. Ocean Basket advertise daily which usually brings in a good quality of comsumers. The daily operations run smoothly with staff that are well trained and helpful. The Kitchen is hygienic and cleaned all day long which makes a pleasant change to previous shops. As a Senoir Manager i have a good relationship with bith the kichen ataff and the waiters as with out those their wouldn't be a business. I respect them and in turn i receive respect.

Pros: Easy co workers who are willing and able
Cons: Not receiving Sufficient Back up from the owners when there is a crisis

Gaining knowledge learning new staff

Normal day of working gaining a lot more knowledge about customer service. Good relationship with co-workers giving each other knowledge and learning some more from them. I've learn to be confidence with myself and treat every customer the same you wish you'd prefer to be treated. I enjoy mostly I meeting new peaple and learning from them. The most challenging aspect is when its busy to anextent of food not coming out of the kitchen and customers are not happy and that thinking of leaving

I've learned many things and how to work with other people

I am a focused person, self-motivated, a dreamer and a hard worker who is always willing to learn and develop new skills. • Perform well under pressure, enjoy and accept responsibilities and challenges and manage time very well. • I am honest, dedicated and enthusiastic person able to function independently also enjoy being part of a team and able to express ideas clearly. • I engage myself in programs that will assist me.

All was just a great experience and a learning curve

Working in a retail and restaurant environment is very interesting especially when its busy you get to challenge your ability to adapt to working under pressure and if you are a team player, as one can never push alone. So I've learnt a perfect communication skill and to be a team builder ....and that one should always set values that can keep them going while still working for another company.... In every work place there it is bound for employees not to see things with the same eye. But one needs to have the tenacity spirit and make things work!

Pros: Greats new start for a change
Cons: Long working hours and less money.

Excellence

typical work day between Saturday and Sunday, i have good relationship with my co-workers , i learnt you respect each other including culture, when i'm working out side and its hot it where i make lot of money and meet different customers, i can say there was no challenges aspects of the job.

Cons: the was no long hours because we have shift

Excellent learning curve

I've learned to interact with customers . Solve customers complains and suggest what I feel will be good and satisfy my clients experience. I've also learned to work well in team and to collaborate in meeting the company's objectives. I have grown as sales consultant and I believe I can sell anything that moves . Working in a team taught me to have team work tobe collaborative . And to teach and celebrate my success with others.

Interaction with different people

I got to be able to have the opportunity to work with individuals from different countries having the responsibility to ensure that a customer goes from our shop excited with the service and the food quality the eat to be able to give a great image about the shop and raise the brand to be highly appreciated

I have learnt to work under pressure, which is what we under on regular basis

We work from 10 am to 22:00 pm everyday..the challenging aspect of the job is on Fridays and Saturdays where the shop is really busy and sometimes runs out of stock

Pros: Good environment
Cons: Very long working hours

Excellent

Good sushi chef and a bartender i have certificate in this industry with no warning or late coming excuses.. And i have worked for 3 ocean baskets so far and have trained so many people in the industry i have open 2 shops it was really a great experience and challenging one
