Great Learning oppertunity, but no benefits no UIF, Leave ECT

I enjoy working there and I have learnt so much, on a typical good day we would make all new customers happy and sell sell sell. There is a lot that still needs to be done in the Labour Law side which turns up to be a bigger issue here. Receiving stock and displaying and marketing it is great fun. Dealing with all kinds of people is nice.

Pros: Great Learning Oppertunity
Cons: NO UIF, NO leave, work work and more work

Learned allot working here from customer etiquette to admin ect

Daily day is merchandising, stocking up shelves, making sure that co-workers, work as a team. Learning how to work on Pastel POS and Express 11 has been great. You learn how to do things in a quicker more productive way. Time management, receiving stock, sending out transfers, dealing with all types of people. Admin was a great big deal of this job daily. Cashing up and dealing with sometimes really big amounts was stress full but rewarding at the same time. Setting a target for each month and reaching it was awesome. The retail hours are the most challenging. But mostly I enjoyed it overall. The Salary was not great but hoping to get a better job with better incentives and benefits.

Pros: Becoming a retail finatic
Cons: working retail hours around family holidays is hard
