The organization itself its flexible and open to growth and development The organization encourage fair debate and fair implementation of policies and procedures Thats not intended to harm or that’s not againts it’s mandate . Good working environment with a good platform raise issue pertaining daily challenges and obstacle that we might be facing in our operational activities .

A good Learning curve

I would describe myself as a well presented, resourceful, self-motivated, results driven, hard worker who thrives at the chance of learning new skills. I have a mature outlook, good communication skill and enjoy working with the public. I always like to get the task I have been given done in a professional and efficient manner and I have proved this through my tertiary studies. I am more than up for a challenge, and I thrive for it. I like to believe I am someone who works well alongside others and easy to get along with as I am a sociable person. My presentations have helped me to build my confidence as a person and hopefully will carry on to do so. I am also willing to take on any training necessary to enable me to carry out my work with due professional care. It would be my pleasure to work in your company and I believe through my qualification of Internal Auditing I can contribute a lot in the company and also I can learn a lot.

Great Moments

Out of 10 I would give 10.5 for my organization because of the culture of the organization as a whole. They value their people. For each and every individual becomes a member of the family. Time and time again employee engagement surveys are conducted to involve each and every team member. Also in terms of development and growth it’s priority number one to develop key talent and retain.

Learning new skills

Monday to discuss our priorities for the week, then meet again in the middle of the week to check progress, and meet once at the end of the week to discuss goal setting for the next week. I meet with smaller groups of my staff during the middle of the week to troubleshoot any issues. I met with the team and, together, we came up with a strategy for increasing efficiency among the team. Along with constant interaction with my team, I also attend a weekly board meeting where I present my department’s progress to the executive board. On Fridays, once all these tasks are completed, I make sure I have completed all necessary communication for the week via email and in person, and create a list of priorities for next week.

My Role

My role is to provide strategic direction to the organization through development and implementation of communications strategies that will take the organization from its current state, to its desired state. My job also entails providing leadership to a team of 20 staff who are my part of my broad portfolio which focuses on internal and external communications, media relations, marketing and branding, social media, stakeholder management, outreach and awareness programmes and events management.

Pros: Exposure to both the public and private sectors and intense media relations
Cons: Long hours and a lot of travelling

Excellent learning curve

get along with my colleagues , i learned that being a receptionist doesn't mean answering and transferring calls you need to have a heart and understand the importance of people/ clients also know that your are the face of the company, you need to be neat at all times, respect each an every person client and colleague also know the in and outs of the company reason being that every call start with you so u need to give answer where the is questions regarding the company.
