Excellent working knowledge in compliance

Drafting Policies and Procedures for the Group Drafting of board and Committee minutes for the Group both at holdings and subsidiary level & Preparing the meeting packs Advising management and business on AML policies and procedures including international standards and FICA requirements Implementing the RMCP as stipulated by the FICA Amendment Act. Training Employees across the group on AML and duties ito of FICA as per the RMCP Conducting compliance awareness Session at Group level Drafting and Implementing the of FAIS policies and procedures Implementing the requirements of National Credit Act, including procurement of systems and drafting of necessary policies and procedures. Reporting on CTRs and STR Presentations and reporting to the board on any compliance progress and issues Managing and delegation of duties to compliance officers.

Pros: Great opportunity for learning compliance laws across the Group as different legislation apply to some of the Groups subsidiaries
Cons: It is very male dominated

Excellent learning curve

I am still new in the Company. I find myself to be doing more company secretarial work than Compliance. Overally it is a nice company to work for. Great people with a friendly environment.

Pros: Great opportunity for Development
Cons: not really exposed to AML which is my passion
