Excellent company - one of the largest nuclear medicine suppliers in the world.

NTP Radioisotopes is a great company. I thoroughly enjoyed working at the company. I have a passion for what I do and I flourished at the type of work I undertook heading the department. I had a fantastic relationship with BoD members, Social and Ethics Committee, co-workers and my team. I learnt that what the company does [supply of nuclear meds for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes] really matters as lives depend on the supply of such. I enjoyed every aspect of my work as I have a passion for integrated marketing communication and stakeholder relations. I am deadline driven and work well under pressure so the pressures of the job kept me on my feet and drove me. Most challenging aspects was the internal politics and hidden agendas between our parent company and NTP as the subsidiary.

Pros: Environment is different as the company is situated on a nature reserve. Knowing that I contributed to "saving a life each day"- our internal communications mantra.
Cons: Long hours with me specifically a I needed to be available even after hours and when on leave. Having to liaise with others overseas for exhibitions, etc. so the time zones created a challenge.

I am willing ungrade my knowledge and skills to become a specialist in what i do

working hours are flexible, good relationship with co-worker, I have learnt a lot in hr administration and training, what I enjoy most is to liase with internal and external training providers, and advise employee to participate in learning and development, most of the time you will knock of late or having lunch in late hours because of the workload but it is good as I learnt more in working underpressure and doing work out of my scope of work

Pros: the is no sign of promotion or grown at the current company
Cons: it is rare to work long hours unless if training or document deadline is influenced
