It is an excellent learning curve, I've advanced my skills in excel, always proactive.

The company I work for is a toolmaking initiative programme that offers matriculants apprenticeships to study toolmaking. I work with student data every day in and out. I analyze data, I draw up reports and summarize my findings and then submit to my project manager. When it is not too busy in the office, I do filing and archiving. The working environment is very warm and the colleagues are very welcoming. What I enjoy most is working on a new project all the time. Doing the analysis and or working on a research are what I like most and what I excel at. Just coming up with good ideas. It gets challenging when working on one assignment for too long and it gets overwhelming.

Programme support coordination and administration

I am responsible for student data, quality checking of student results, validation of the results and moderated results. I also handle training budget and coordination, travelling and deployment of students and lecturers for training.

Pros: Everyday challenging position
Cons: no room for career advancement

Great working conditions. The management takes care of their staff and they offer training and make sure everyone working there has the same culture and values. You never feel out of place.

Excellent good environment for experience

Ntip is a good learning environment as you get exposed in working with Edm spark erosion,EDM wire and CNC milling and CNC turning you get to build your die and mould from scratch and you get to write the NIMS online for credentials and you get to be exposed to company to get the experience and work environment

Pros: Is a great opportunity to get employment

Excellent growth learning curve

completed four years apprenticeship in tool,die and mould making, able to operate cnc milling and turning haas, EDM spark erosion and wire cutter, manual lathe, milling and surface grinder also programming using emco fanuc software certified as machinist

Pros: great opportunity to further studies

No dull moment

I work in an ever changing environment which has given me skills to cope well under pressure. I have exposure to innovation, adaptability and problem solving skills.

Waisted 7 years of my life gained nothing not even experience.

Bad management runs down to bad working environment. 84 staff members retrenched from Oct 2017 to Dec 2017 with the bare minimum package payout. Therefore there is no good culture in the company

Pros: NONE, course's given but only in-house certificates
Cons: No medical or pension fund

Excellent learning curve

Interesting place to work. Youth empowerment very motivating. Very details orientated. Things change rapidly. Many skilled people employed here. Work is very technical in nature.
