I work in the finance section I am currently line the payroll section what I enjoyed the most was when the payroll accountant was on maternity leave and I had to run the whole payroll section on my own it was amazing

Maintenance of street lights, Fault finding in High mast lights, chasing wall for mounting distribution board, socket outlet, Switch box and for lining conduits in different sizes, Single phase distribution board wiring and three phase wiring,Connection of backup generator, Connection of transformer that Supplies the main distribution board plaza, testing voltages, using hand Tools such as driller, velvet gun, crimpers and grinder, wiring different circuits, knowing the connection of XLPE cable from overhead Lines and fault finding in electrical circuits.Dialy inspection in a plant room.

Excellent training venture

Im getting the experience that i hv always required which I believe will open many doors for me. Working relation with my manager are not so good but the working environment is amaizing.

Experienced person and technologies used here are up to date

My daily duties includes answering telephones, typing or word processing, making copies of documents, maintaining records, hall bookings, procurement of cell phones for employees and supervising General workers. My relationship with my co-workers is very good as we are working as a team. I have learnt that hard work pays and I enjoy working with different people with different characters, The most challenging aspects of the job is that you have to listen everyone as a supervisor even if how difficult is the situation.

Excellent learning curve

I've work with people more than 10 in HR Department ....my duties were : capturing data's,operating calls, scanning, maintaining the filing , give attention to visitors , order the supplies. Was working independently sometimes working as a team ...have learnt a lot of things such as how u behave when you work with different people ...nothing is nice like working with different people w different languages

Excellent Learning Curve as Head of Administration

AsAsAs Head of Administration responsible for overall development of the community, my passion is ensuring that planning is informed by aspirations of community, an integrated development planning from all sectors, private sector and sector departments working within the Alfred Nzo District Municipality. It is the reason why the Dissertation proposal for Masters is "Exploring the District Development Model as a planning tool for service delivery". As Head of Institution I am responsible to co-ordinate a balanced plan for all Key Performance of the Local Government.

Great working environment

It is a political institution , it is amazing working but there is no growth bcoz everything is politically influenced. at the company i work with councillors from different wards , ward secretaries , sector departments. there am responsible for coordinating meeting between the Municipality and other stakeholders.

Pros: few opportunities for promotion
Cons: work long hours
