Pros: Yes there are opportunities within the company both in the department im in and outside of my department

Very good experience

Good company, good working conditions, great employees. The employees work together and help each other grow. The one disappointing this is the salary package its not equivalent to the work load and work hours

Excellent learning curve

At first it was very scary moving from one company to another but with my good people skills and drive to learn more in my trade, I made it feel very easy to fit in and get going. The work I do was very exciting at first but now I need to learn more. I have this hunger to learn more and always feel challenged.

Knowledge is Power

NPC is a dynamic company which provides the opportunity to learn and develop your knowledge and skills. Being a 24 hour operation pushes your ability and demands great attention to manage not only my staff but the operation and providing a service to our internal and external customers to achieve our company goals

Pros: Opportunity to develop in a high paced environment
Cons: Due to a lean staff compliment your focus has to constantly change to assist in all areas, This could been seen as a Pro in the case of learning to multi-task but also as a negative when not sufficient attention can be given to all tasks performed

Would really like to relocate to Western Cape because of family responsibilities

The bosses do not appreciate my work. They don’t have respect for workers Im looking forward to yearly bonus Dont work weekends They question my reasons for illnes I bring work home to helo woth exyra work load They don’t appreciate that Still telling me I am slacking

Pros: Yearly bonus
Cons: No appreciation of efforts . No respect from management.

Excellent learning curve

NPC Simuma is a very good company which I enjoy to work for. The company gives you a chance to express yourself, customers are treated very well and they build sustainable relationship with the community. I've developed working more experienced people in my field enjoying mostly to assist maintenance team by ensuring high availability and reliability on assets.

Excellent in adapting to new environments

Hard working Strong in electrical and mechanical Can do welding and boiler making Maintain the plant and attend to all breakdowns Write reports on breakdowns for preventative maintenance Always work as a team 12 hour shift work can be tiring

Pros: Always looking for growth and to further myself
Cons: Can work straight 12 hour's or more depending on the urgency of the job

Good learning curve

All people at the company were helpful and easy to talk to. Siniour managers were not putting too much pressure on the employees, and they always provide training to the new employees

Pros: Good opportunity for skills development
Cons: Standing long hour (at the lab)
