My review Summary
A typical day is generally different everyday. I deal with many different queries, whether it be internally or client related. I check my emails and daily expectations where employees are concerned and then make sure all departments are ready for the daily tasks to be executed. I work very well with my colleagues and peers and assist tremendously with the operational side of the business. I am a very knowledgeable and likeable person within the company. I enjoy the challenges put in my path and do resolve most of them on a daily basis. I set out presentations and have closed deals in the past. I enjoy the variation of my position. The most challenging part of my job, is trying to get others to "think out of the box". I do however, state my understanding of situations and find solutions.
Pros: The variation and ability to be able to go on courses and offshore which has helped give me insight and grow.
Cons: Long hours at times. Too little recognition for a job well done.

Hard working and easy to get on with. Good bilingual written and oral skills.
We are a marine safety orientated but not limited to service company. We ensure that all the FFE and LSA, and equipment is valid and in good working order. The fire technicians are all SAQCC registered, and the company is compliant with all the major classifications societies. My job as operation manager, was the smooth day to day running of the various departments. This includes the renewal of all the various classification and governmental societies e.g. SABS, SAMSA, ABS, Lloyds and many more. I have a professional relationship with all staff and ensure that all staff differences and conflicts are resolved in a professional manner. I have an open door policy and the staff appreciates the confidentiality. i enjoy the day to day challenges that come with the job and the liaison with the customers. the most challenging aspect of the job is to stay ahead of the new and upcoming technology, as this is always changing.
Pros: Good working environment and very good benefits
Cons: Cant go any further as i am at the top of my field.

I'm open for any new opportunity
Besides servicing of life rafts, i attend to clients on a daily basis whether telephonically or walk in clients. I do my own filing as well. I make up my own certificates per job. I assist the other technicians as well daily.
Pros: With my willingness and eagerness to learn I should not be taken for granted
Cons: I'm prepared to do long hours but have to be seen
