I work well with others and get along very well with my co workers, I am a team player. I am learning a lot as this is a new line in the industry for me, I dont se my family that much as I drive from Rustenburg to Northam every day

Growing company

The company is stil growing.. I just need a change to a place where I can get at least housing benefit for my small family because currently my income cannot afford to build for them

Exposure to supervisory experience

We do routine analysis were we supervise sub-ordinate on daily tasks and report to the clients on their daily demands. We plan on daily tasks and also ensure that instruments, materials and equipment's are stocked and or maintained.

Pros: Its a good experience for my career
Cons: Complicated shifts (21 days and 5 days rest) and salary not market related.

Corporate Communication (Higher Education and Mining)

The mining industry employs industry experts to carry out the core technical function, however, the majority of the sector remains illiterate, presenting me with a unique challenge to craft messagw that will reach internal and external audiences effectively and creatively. I enjoy this challenge, placing press releases in the media, executing corporate events targeting internal and external and stakeholders, working on advertisements, posters, flyers, newsletters and special publications, student recruitment, and the professional management of social media platforms. This has been my craft since I joined Higher Education as a professional in 2009.

Pros: It pays decently and has good share incentives
Cons: Long working hours with no overtime pay

Exposure as i haven't done plant work before

Shift start @7am ,I collect samples from the lab to do monthly composites which on month end I do particle size determination .I also do oil analysis for plant samples. We are a team of 4 people in the metallurgical lab ,our interaction is good .I managed to know a bit about plant processing .Most challenging moments @ work is when we have instrument breakdowns because a backlog is created.

Pros: learning curve
Cons: far from home
