Excellent working enviroment

Working at north coast tractors has taught me how to work under pressure. I worked with different races and learnt and understood more of the mechanical side, learnt how to cost of different customers. Well driven and customer friendly environment. At some days it would be really busy and others really quite. I had a good relationship with my co-workers, we all developed a relationship inside aswell outside the work environment. I have enjoy working with the staff and being able to learn something new almost all the time. I also enjoyed that everyone was willing to assist if I needed help. The most challenging aspect of my job was the costing of a customer, dealing with mechanical I had to be a really quick thinker on costing of a job whilst the customer awaited a quotation. This kept me on my toes and aware of everything, it has been the most challenging but by far the best. Thank you

General working day

Oversee day to day duties in workshop and office . Delegate tasks to technicians and supervise staff and workshop foreman. Check up on spares on order and loaded with customers. Diagnosis on faults on vehicles and trucks with diagnostic equipment. Test drives with head mechanic after job tasks completed. Daily reports to owners on daily tasks completed.

Pros: Lots of clients so always busy
Cons: Long working hours
