Great at Product Development

My job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. This role revolves around good communication and so whatever business I work in my duties are likely to include: Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings Planning and preparing presentations Communicating new product developments to prospective clients Overseeing the development of marketing literature Writing reports Providing management with feedback

Pros: I love travelling
Cons: Disciplinary hearings

Great corporate culture and salary, but poor work/life balance and opportunities

I don't think I can accurately describe a typical work day other than as very stressful because it's highly variable: Either I do well or fail miserably and failure is not an option. What I have learned is that my strengths are Database-related, but not with planning or testing, making me unsuitable as a developer of core business logic. I am more suited to visual/front-end development or technical support. Design, planning and testing are the most challenging aspects of the job.

Pros: Great corporate culture; free tea and coffee; casual Friday
Cons: No room for failure; overtime is voluntary and unpaid; poor inter-/intra-departmental communication

Excellent learning experience.

Excellent coworkers, made some buddies over the year. Gained valuable corporate and technical sales experience. I have enjoyed the products and the industry we work in as it is a very niche market. The most challenging part is winning over big corporate portfolio groups, and also keeping the edge in the market with other competitors in the market. But it was a challenge which I can say we are currently winning both nationally and internationally.

Better chances of studying,as they offer and pay for studies related to your job task.

Notetech is a good company with a good atmosphere to work other althogh we know that days are just not the same. We created a good working relationship among the co-workers. I enjoy working with a team of good dedicated candidates. At Nortech i have learnet a lot including responsibility as a result I am a second in charge in our stock controlling depertment in the absence of my supervisour. There is number of challeges in y position and that is the most thing i look forward to everytime i come to work. You must stay alert and active at all thime.

Pros: It a growing enviroment with good opportunities.
Cons: Sometimes you need to pull in long hours to meet the deadline.

Travel is good, but can be away for too long

Job: - Assisting to Service technician with callouts on a normal day, - Travel and sleep out on projects that can last to a maximum of 2months away from home, Colleagues: - The team got this family vibe, so they become your brothers out there on the road, Skill: - You become better at handling and communicating with customers ranging from a maintenance guy up to management. - You become exposed to working with contractors, construction manager, surveyors, and many more. Challenges: - Working Monday to Monday during projects can take a toil on your mental and physical self. - Sometimes delays during projects can make you stay longer away from home than original planned. Extras - The travel allowance is reasonably good.

Pros: Travelling is nice, Travell allowance is good
Cons: No opportunity for promotion, no skill development
