My challenges and gains

A typical day begins with confirmation of all the employees on different sites, posting of spares on sites where there are shortages and filling of time sheets. As a controller my job entails being a link between the management and general employees and this requires me to be alert and keep my cool at all times. My inter-personal skills have improved drastically since I interact with people day in day out. I have been a chameleon worker since my duties are not limited to one specific task only. I am proud of the relationship I have built with the entire staff of the company as anybody who wants information about a particular individual or site knows that I will help them at any given time. The most challenging aspect of the job is dealing with angry employees or management when things do not go the right way.

Pros: Improvement of my inter-personal and communication skills
Cons: Long hours as I work a 12 hour shift and still got to attend to my studies

Gained experience

it is a busy & fast pace environment working with security officers everyday. my relationship with my co-workers is the best because we make our own working environment very well & create our own memories as we spend the day with each other i have learned that you need to cover your tracks have records of every work that you do ,be able to multi task, be able to met deadline even if work overtime that you are not paid for i enjoy mostly working with my team as we are good team members the most challenging part not being able to help one of team member while i am doing my work and seeing them struggling because i have to meet d my deadline as well
