What you have learnt , relationships with co-workers and The most challenging aspects of the job

This company is very great to work for and staff are friendly including the sites that I visit around Johannesburg. I have been with the company for two months but it feels like I have worked here forever. working hours are very reasonable and very accommodating to staff. work life balance. Staff always available to assist at all time including the Director himself. Being an HR Manager is not an easy task but with NMC they make my work so easy to do. Late submission of documents from Managers and staff as it has an impact on payroll and the admin thereafter. Overall this a great construction company, it's unfortunate that they do not have a headcount at the moment.

Pros: Great company to learn alot about the construction industry.
Cons: Deadline drive and a results driven environment.

Learning

i have a good relationship my my co-workers and i enjoy working at NMC although are those day where you feel the pressure as a leader but it has tough me many things in my working experience and the most thing that i value about NMC is that they gave me a chance to grow and they had given me freedom to try new thing and investigate freely based on improving production

Excellent Scope and exposure to different projects

The company has good responsibility dealing and training. I got an opportunity to work on different infrastructure projects and obtained a great set of new skills.

An eye opening experience

Working at this particular company was quite eye-opening and challenging as well. I have had a wonderful relationship with 'some' of my co-workers. I have learnt to be professional and maintain consistency. I enjoyed the sampling and analysis process. The most challenging aspect is constantly emphasizing the right principles to people who are aware of them but make a decision to not comply and implement those principles accordingly. So as a leader, you need to be professional but firm and emphatic with tactfulness.

Working and dealing with difficult suppliers. Have a good working relationship with coworkers. Planning my work for the day. Phoning for signed copy of pod's.
