I have been working for the NMC Group for more then 10 years and it was really a delight as people growth is big at NMC. I started as a Pipe layer and work throw the ranks becoming a Junior foreman, foreman, site supervisor and ultimately a Site Agent. I was fortunate to be able to work on and lead projects ranging from 2million to 250million. This is were I developed a sound financial and managerial back ground and how to deliver a quality but yet profitable product to the clients.

Good company to work for

I am working 9 hours a day from Monday to Friday. I have a very good relationship with my co-workers and I have learnt more intricases on how to control plant, labour and materials. Learnt how to use Builds mart software and to monitor, review and analyse cost and production budgets.The most challenging time is the month end reports has prepared and invoices reconciliation has be done for quantity surveyors.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: Long working hours
