A wonderful job opportunity
As a Team Manager my present duties include amongst others: - Managing 24 agents, - Admin: Filling, Pulling daily/weekly/monthly Payment/Productivity Reports, Updating Leave on line, - Undertake regular coaching with individuals to deliver a high level of call quality - Monitor individual and team performance, including undertaking Performance Reviews is maintained, - Quality Assurance, Additional duties include being Second-in-Charge (2IC) to the Operations Manager. Some of the duties in this role include: - Ensuring that the Team Managers’ registers are updated - Make sure that all agents are on campaigns - Ensure that Team Managers adhere to their daily functions - Attendance is escalated to the HR Department and Operation Executive - Shadowed by new Team Managers - Provide some Soft Skills training to new Team Managers I recently started being coached and mentored by the Operations Executive.
Pros: My day is full and busy all the time. The chance to learn new skills and be given the opportunities for advancement. The opportunity to manage and teach those in my team.

Excellent learning skills , fast learner, very punctual

Good collector who has reached an entry level of Orange band
arriving at work @730 am answering calls and calling debtors to remind them of their payment arrangements also the new clients to negotiate a payment arrangement for their debt thats due also emphasising the importance of hournouring payments their debts on time whilst maximing the collection and ensuring that as a collector i meet the required target as per organisational needs

Great working experience
i enjoy working as the team and helping my team members who find difficulties. My job description was to call the clients and convince them to pay their outstanding balances. i have learnt that respecting your co-workers it create a great working environment .You must always work hard in the workplace without expecting increase of your compensation. in the workplace you face challenges because you dealing with co-workers from different backgrounds you must always overcome those challenges and avoid conflict.
Pros: least chances of getting promotion
Cons: you will work long hours if you do not reach the target

learning how to maximise collections . how to build and maitain relationships with debtors and keep reminding them of benefits and negative of not honouring payments.

Stressfull
colleagues very nice to work with. Management do as they please with employees under them. Your opinion doesnt count. Their way or the highway. Most people still stay because the working hours is nice for one who has children. I've learnt a lot about debt collection enjoying it very much although there's not really work for us @the company we working very old and prescribed debt. Very difficult to make your target especially these past 2months for me personally for me. After they pushed the targets up knowing the economy is so bad and after what they did with employees pipelines.
