This was my ideal job

My typical work day: - Demand planning - Placing orders - Leasing with Freight forwarder on air and sea shipments - Submitting of Clearing Instructions - All aspects of obtaining a Letter of Authority from NRCS - Customs Tariff Headings on products Imported - Document control for customs purposes - Submitting and control of supplier Invoices for payment Relationship with co-workers - I had a good relationship with co-workers, as we merged with another company in 2014 it was challenging but not unbearable. What I have learnt & enjoyed most - To accept change and embrace it - To be able to solve problems Most challenging aspects - Colleagues not doing their jobs properly which in turn affect's my job

Pros: Great industry
Cons: Merger was not handeled properly by new management

Good start-up opportunity

Management should follow through on promises made to employees and at least give feedback if given timeline is not feasible any longer. Staff validation is on the low and slow. Forum meeting discussion items are regurgitated, not followed through or resolved. Not much growth opportunity for employees in intermediate stage of career.

Pros: Good company for entry into job market
Cons: Not enough growth opportunity

Not a great place to work

Not much positive to say about the company if compared to other multinationals.

Cons: No reward for hard work
