Challenging

When I started at Nike I was based at mamelodi at first then was moved to Nike CBD that was opened last year December.Working there was very nice and one was learning a lot and I could see improvement from when I started and that time.There were things I was entrusted with like doing figures,having my department which I had to take care of as my baby and I could say that I was excelling day by day.Then earlier this year in June/July was moved to another store which is very far from home and costs me three times transport money than what I was used to.I was excited to go there cant lie but I guess every job comes with its own challenges and we also get to meet people who are completely different from us and believe in different things aswell...but one has to always be able to adapt to change and it turned out well.I was once told that if you just focus on what you hired for and leave other politics out of your way then all will be well.

Pros: Great environment to work in.
Cons: Long working hours and there is no opportunity for promotion

Excellent learning curve

Its a big company where you can learn alot of different things and mostly make u be into sport, but i was already a sport man so it wasnt difficult for me. I learned alot at nike they made me grow but its time to move on and see whats the future is holding for me as a young graduate. Nike also help me grow in terms of working as a team, communication in terms of helping customer and the skills you can use as a sales assistant

Learning different views of people

A day at nike I have a very good relationship with my co workers. I am straight forward person but know my boundaries. I've learnt that the place of which you work is like a second home as you spend most of your time there. The challenging part is the late hours. I enjoy meeting new people

My work ethic

Previous jobs have taught me time management and how to be accountable and productive. I have a friendly personality although very focused when I have to work and work with others, I generally get along with everyone. I have learned how to approach person confidently and provide premium service. I enjoy getting along with others and completing the task at hand. Challenge vary with the different work environments but I apply myself to overcome them.

Excellent customer service

Nike running Menlyn Mall is great work place to be fair salary great work ethics and the product benefits are the best ever for training and running athletes

Excellent

I work well with peers. My strong point is training and coaching people. Always willing to learn and open for feedback. At the moment I'm an assistant manager and care take mist of the branch managers duties in his absence. I work in all areas from stockroom to the floor.

Excellent communication

I really enjoy to work as a team,because i know that working together we can do more When i work with my team mates its easy because if someone does not understand something we help each other I have learned that customer's comes first and once i achieve my target the store wil achieve I enjoy assisting customer's and sharing the product benefits with our customer's The most challenging it is when you tries to convince a customer who is not interested

I enjoyed working at Nike

I njeyed working at Nike with all my heart. And i still miss the team i was working with most and the still muss me coz we always talk almost daily hshdhehshdhr

Great environment to be in.

I am a hands on person who delivers myself in a very professional manager creating a great working environment making sure I get my job done. I enjoy the face to face customer interaction and helping customers comes to a understanding.
