Research work in HIV neutralizing antibodies, good suportive co-workers. Excellent mentors and good career development opportunities. My experience as a molecular biologist includes working for two years as a scientific officer at the University of Cape Town prior to the two years I did at Parirenyatwa Hospital Medical Laboratories. During this time I have gained experience and developed skills in a number of areas, including bacterial culturing techniques, identification of bacterial colonies(species), PCR techniques, Protein Expression and purification, molecular biology techniques such as DNA cloning, site-directed mutagenesis, DNA sequencing, Interpretation of DNA Sequence chromas, Bioinformatics tools, Protein Modelling, Western blotting, Coomassie staining, Tissue culture work (Maintaining mammalian/insect cells, transfection of cells), Inositol Phosphate Assays, Ligand Binding Assays, Mass spectroscopy, circular dichroism, Preparation of reagents and many other techniques.

Good working relation with colleagues
