in our company there is lot of pressure and iam used to work under pressure as we run fourth night driver's wages and currently iam also working with monthly incentives wages. iam having a good relationship with my co-workers i love working with people when i started working in these company l was on internship every l learned in payroll eg :how to run payroll , approach with difficult emplooyees i enjoy every thing about my job, most especially filling and working with employees in my company most challenging its lack of information from other departments, because we work hand in hand Eg: time and attendants delay with employee hours its also affects my payroll run

I had a good experience

I have a good relationship with all my colleagues and Senior Managers, it is a conducive environment to be working at. I capture suppliers’ invoices in the accounting systems (Sage Pastel); provide accounting and clerical support to the department, Prepare and maintaining accounting records and bank deposits such as EFT (Payment Requisition) for payments, reconcile account on monthly basis and ensure that invoices have a valid job card; checking outstanding invoices from stores department and calling suppliers, requesting statements capturing them. The challenge I have is that the company is in the process of liquidation.

Pros: There is no opportunity of an upgrade at the moment.
Cons: I work for a normal working hours.

Excellent learning curve

Tiring especiall y when there are a lot of mistakes from operations, coworkers are very welcoming and accommodative, the most challenging is when we have multiple deadlines

Active and ever ready for new challenges

My job description is simple and straight forward, I interact with suppliers on daily bases to ensure that we both on the same track with regard to invoice quiries and statement so that at the end of the day payments are made as per our agreement. The relationship with my co-workers is also amazing, during my leave days I know that my accounts are kept on the right record and everything will be handled well. My challenge is when it comes to payments, having to confirm with a supplier regarding a payment to be made and next thing the supplier is not paid. It puts me in a situation where by I feel like I don't value my suppliers as I end up coming with excuses and my manager doesn't even meet me half way to resolve the issue and assure the supplier.

Great learning curve

Company had great opportunities but very poor Top Management decisions making it a difficult environment to work in but it also brings new experiences
