Experience gained

I joined New Hope with no experience. My hr managrr trained me. I have been able to go for payroll training. The most challenging part of my career at this stage- is working for a chinese company where the rules and regulations and laws of SA are very limited

Gained new experience

I have gained experience in HR & Payroll which I enjoy. Most challenging aspect is the communcation within the company. As the company is chinese owned- miscommunication occurs often which causes challenges and issues. A typical day at work would include all HR duties, Payroll for bi weekly employees, making sure creditors invoices are handed over to the finance deparment, assisting with general admin work. relationship with fellow south african collegues is great.

Good company that is starting very

the work load is too much but it is nothing that i cannot handle, dealing with payroll, recruitment, induction for new employees, handling employees grievances and also discipline them if needed

Pros: yes there is an oppiortunity for growth
Cons: normal woprking hours

I am hard working person

i player a very important role where i am working currently, i'm a good decision maker and enjoy working under no supervision because i am good team player.

Pros: i have leanerd to communicate better with different cultures peoples, stock taking is my priority
Cons: when theres too much production i have to do too many jobs inoder to keep my inventory going

Always, back up your information, never give the wrong suggestions or advice.

No Benefits, not nice, little communication as company is 50% chinese. I was told my department, HR was being outsourced so they had no choice but to put me in the Marketing department. I was told to set up an office from home. I later found out that the Admin Manager had taken my position and that the HR was never sourced out. I'm just finished. I need a drastic change.

Pros: I work from home - relaxing and chilled.
Cons: No opportunity to go further in the Company.
