Challenging but inspiring

I am a dedicated registered professional nurse working in a combined ward with Psychiatry,Orthopaedic and Neurology. I work 12 hours a day in a very busy unit due to different specialties.I do have a good relationship with Co workers despite sometimes having challenges with staff members who are resistant. I have learnt to manage my staff members and delegate fairly to junior staff members. I enjoy most making sure that patients are happy and comfortable by interacting with them regularly. The most challenge I get in my ward is when there are unnecessary conflicts amongst staff members which I have to resolve.

Pros: I do hospital on calls when there is no unit manager available

EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE

starts around 4am when I get ready for work, then at 7am I have to be at my work station admitting patients into the hospital or pre-booking them. Most of them will My typical work day starts around 4am when I get ready for work, then at 7am I have to be at my work station admitting patients be panicking cause of the unfamiliar e at ease my work station admitting patients into
