I hold BAA Paramedic registered with HPCSA,I also have bachelors’ in Ministry, code 10 drivers license with pdp,I also did a medical representative course. I have learn a lot about teamwork since I have been working at Netcare 911 I believe working in a team develops you as an individual as well, it is not easy but the effort you put in is worth it in the end.. I am dedicated and work well in teams, I am ready have more exposure in my field so I can be better equipped to contribute towards my country and community. I believe your company can assist me in this regard

I am a valuable team player who manages my time very diligently and require little to no supervision. My many years of working experience in the banking and Health industry, and as an administrator in the customer contact environment have equipped me with all the relevant knowledge and skill to add value to your business.

Great to help others

A typical work day starts either very earl or very late. The hours are odd and does not allow you to spend time with your loved ones. We get called out to situations that can put our lives in danger but we go as there are people out there who need us. Your co-workers become your family, although some of them are not that nice. The remuneration is not good at all for the job we do and the risks we take...not to mention the sacrifices our families endure. We do our job because its our passion.

Cons: Loss of family time and poor remuneration

Excellent exposure to multiple areas of the medical sector

Good day I have been in the emergency medical service for 13 years. I have extensive knowledge on Anatomy and physiology. Attending trauma aswell as medical cases on a daily basis. I also have experience in Working Hospital Casualty shifts, working alongside Specialists, Surgeons and Physicians within the Private sector. Looking to expand my medical career in Surgical sales. I am ammbitious, energetic, and willing to learn with excellent work ethic.

Pros: Developing relationships with Doctors, Physicians and specialists throughout the private medical sector
Cons: Going into dangerous areas to remove patients

Learning curve.

-Shift worker, rotational between 2 12 hour shifts a week, the following 5x12 hour shifts. -early start, shifts run from 05h00-17h00/17h00-05h00. -Due to environment and nature of current position, can be busy and/or quiet. -Rotational staff, get a long with colleagues. -Learned: planning, organizing, leading and controlling. -The leave being a shift worker- flexible. As we as flying. -Challenges; managing people and overcoming multitude of personality differences. Minimal growth- it is hard to accept.

Pros: Good starting point and exposure to managerial roles.
Cons: Long hours, no opportunity for growth.
