My position is quite a challenging position because I am working with different people. It's challenging in a manner that I have to provide finabcial advice and the need for a funeral cover to uneducated people who find it very unneccesary to save for future. Working for Net1 has taught me patience and has helped me to develop my customer services skills and be able to put the needs of people first. My position requires honesty as it engages financies. My duty is to help grant beneficiaries to move from the dark side that is the life without future financial security. Engaging with people on a daily basis has improved my Communication and Marketing skills. The most exciting thing about my job is that i help people in times of need and that is where others learn the importance of saving for the future.

Net1 Financial Services is a leading technology and financial company, listed on the JSE market,

I have learnt to work with different type of people who receive a government social grant, old and disabled people. I enjoy working with them. I work as a team with all the staff. We try our best to give excellent customer service to all our customers.

Excellent communication skills

I personally work with close to 80 people a day, most of the clients are pensioners, disability, and mentally unfit clients and that taught me to be patient and also taught me very good communication skills. Every first week of the month we start working at 5 am and knock of at 4h30 pm it becomes very busy during that time of the month. The most challenging aspect is getting a deaf client and at that stage communication becomes limited. The relationship with my colleagues is very good because we tackle problems as a team and not individually. With this company I learned to be calm and patient and also learned to be a very hard worker.

Working at Net1 Financial Services

I enjoy working here, i get to meet different people from different backgrounds and get to see the whole of the Eastern Cape, it's just that there is no motivation and also no overtime we get time off for working extra hours

Learning curve

Working from enrolment operator(opening bank accounts) to sales represantative (policy insurance) motivates me to understand more about our clients needs. Being able to work in the company interacting with clients on daily basis takes hard work and dedication and the priority is the customer's satisfaction at the end of the day, and that grows business to a greater satisfaction.
