Excellent learning curve

Good organisation because i joined the company as a receptionist 17 years ago and have since grown and moved between different roles and Departments. I work well with my colleagues and learning daily from them. I have good support system from my manager. I enjoy helping our stakeholders and co-workers with whatever possible. I like the organisation because we are encouraged to develop ourselves by studying further and the organisation fund for our studies. The challenges part is when we get request very late that are urgent or helping people who are not considerate for other people. the other challenges part is when people do not want to follow procedure and expect us to do miracles. Generally work is good.

Pros: Great opportunity to grow
Cons: Risky department and end up with enemies as we have to follow the regulations and policies of SCM

Perfect way to gain experience

The company includes 30 employees all that work in the secretariat. The day to day activities change so it also teaches how to think on your feet and make quick decisions. People are all friendly and the only way to go forward is to co-operate in this company. The exposure is huge it is a very big organisation in the Republic. The exposure of leadership most of the work done is purely up to your decision and that puts the correctly needed pressure to deal with business functions with more calm and confidence. The compiling of all records as a lot of activities happen during the financial year.
