Great industry experience

We are a team of 11 Relationship Managers in the inland. We work closely with Nedbank retail networks including financial planning and RRB . They distribute our bouquet of products ranging from funeral plans for individuals and schemes, credit life products , investments. My role is to maintain and grow relationships by enabling stuff , through training, presenting and reporting and stakeholder engagements with the intention to grow sales in the region. Great team relationship. There is never a typical working day , as it requires one to stay on top of their work, so your activities are based on planning and what you want to achieve. The only constant thing about my day is planning of activities, understanding of the business and taking on activities that speak to your mission

Good Listener ,Fast learner, adopt easily to change, hard worker.

*Working for Nedbank has thought me to listen and Sympathise with our clients. *A typical work day- Every morning I log on my Avaya and RTM(Real Time management systems. *Start with my invoice and quotation approval, reply to emails answer calls and action all complaints *relationship with my co-worker is very vibrant. Since we are working in a busy environment we try by all means to create fun at all times and still make sure we are productive at the same time *What I enjoy most is working with clients * Challenging aspects of my job is taking calls

My current working environment

I currently manage a team of Relationship Managers/ Broker Consultants selling our Credit Life, Secured Investment/Short Term Insurance offerings to the bankers in the branches and financial planners in the Free State and Eastern Cape Regions. We look after all the Stakeholders in the field that might sell our offerings from Branch Network, Retail Relationship Banking, Business Banking, Financial Planners and Outlet Sales ( Build-it and Cashbuild stores) Over the last 25 years working on the Banking and Insurance Industry I have learned to apply my skills, knowledge and experience to understand and guide my theam through the environment we operate in as well as putting myself in the shoes of the other person. I enjoy working with complex problems especially where they are numerical as I believe I have above average numerical and analytical skills. The most challenging part of my job is getting senior management to understand that things that works in one place does not necessarily work in another

I believe that its time for change as i have been here for too long

It is a stressful environment, we received quite number of calls and we do the claims for 9 provinces. I enjoy the challenges that comes within cause if you do not have the will power then wont succeeded in this industry. Everyday is the learning curves as we deal with different types of clients and each claims has its own merit and cannot be treated the same

Great company, family environment, educative and corporate culture
